Inspired by the erotic paintings of Yannis Moralis, the ceramic installation “The Kiss” unfolds beneath the blazing stillness of the Greek summer sun, tracing the chromatic pulse of an awakening romance. Lovers entwine, caress, and wander across the landscapes of one another’s bodies, while the sea rises behind them as both witness and echo of their desire. In this luminous world, every act of love becomes tenderly inevitable, suspended beyond judgement. So long as the lovers remain within one another’s gaze, they cease to be merely human: they become beings of the sea, born of salt, light, and sun-warmed breath.
