Overthinking

2025

Overthinking is a process that can generate dissipation and disconnection with almost every emotional state. Overanalysing life experiences can be a complex, mysterious and uncanny process. As scientific studies suggest, the average human brain makes approximately about 12.000 to 60.000 thoughts per day. Once you get to the journey of overthinking it seems hard to find a way out. The outcome of this complex process can cause the loss of connection to emotional and bodily states, and can block us from expressing our feelings or receiving the ones of others. Life doesn’t have to only be analysed but instead, it’s important to be lived, to be organically experienced. Otherwise, the whole meaning of living will be lost. The brain, studies show, does affect and potentially can damage the function of the heart, yet the heart has the power and the capacity to hold the brain even in its most destructive moves towards the whole human organism. The work shows the importance of taking care of the emotional aspect of our lives, as well as preserving and nourishing our brainpower.
