Hospital Rooms

2026

“Mood on Plate” workshop A Hospital Rooms’ partnership with Royal College of Art students. This live project explored how the Digital Art School engages young people, inspiring students to develop and lead their own sessions in response to the Digital Art School format. Hospital Rooms is an arts and mental health charity that collaborates with artists, service users, and NHS mental healthcare units to craft innovative artwork and creative programmes while dispelling stigmas. The digital workshop “Mood on Plate” invites participants to slow down, tune into their emotions, and transform feeling into form. Beginning with breathwork and a gentle body scan, the workshop encourages participants to recognise their presence, emotions, tension, openness, and stillness. From there, air-dry clay and acrylic paint become tools for expression—shaping plates that hold emotions to embrace, release, or simply acknowledge. Facilitated by Tami O.
